Thank you for your interest in supporting the GLCAC. The mission of the GLCAC is to provide a child and family a friendly place to conduct multi-disciplinary interviews of children between the ages of 3 and 18. The multi-disciplinary team approach allows social services, law enforcement, prosecution and mental health emplo
yees an opportunity to participate in comprehensive forensic interviews conducted by specially trained personnel. The forensic interview model used at the GLCAC represents current best practice and limits the amount of times a child needs to be interviewed. The GLCAC is a non-profit agency and depends on private donations, fundraising efforts, and grants to provide this very valuable service to our children. One of these efforts is the GLCAC Memorial Trust Fund, which was established to provide long-term, sustainable funding for the Center. The included photos are of the Memorial Trust Board which is on permanent display at the GLCAC. This beautiful board was handcrafted by Officer Jon Howe of the Laconia Police Department. Please take a few minutes and identify the people or organizations in your life or past that you feel deserve the honor of a plate on this display. So many people work everyday to make the lives of our children better and adding their name(s) to our board is one way to acknowledge that dedication. This donation also entitles you to the future benefit of an optional page on the GLCAC website. On that page you will have a limited amount of space for a photo and/or narrative about the person or organization you have chosen to honor. When this option becomes available, you will contacted with further instructions. |
